Chega aos cinemas brasileiros nesta quinta-feira (26) o filme “Top Gun: Maverick”, sequência do clássico ‘Top Gun – Ases Indomáveis’, lançado em 1986. Mais de 30 anos após o primeiro filme, Tom Cruise retorna ao seu papel como Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. “Stranger Things 4” e “Obi-Wan Kenobi” também chegam aos streamings.

The cheap labour model that has driven the economies of most of South East Asia, China and other nations may be running out of breath. Twelve people jumped off buildings at a certain factory’s facilities in Shenzen (two survived however) exposing problems related to ill treatment, mismanagement of staff, military style training and a no nonsense corporate culture. Production line workers, including pregnant women were forced to stand for eight hours on their jobs while not having time to communicate with friends and support nests.

End Of Poverty

You have heard it all before. You have heard the stories of starving children and African villages and abandonment and violence and crime and food banks and aid agencies. Somehow, for many people, it’s stopped being sexy and new. And, sadly, in this world, sexy and new is what sells. Of course, it’s all understandable. Can someone who was just fired from a job really care about impoverished people in a foreign country, thousands of miles away?

The main rationale given for school closings are based upon the under utilization of the classrooms. My main problem with this logic is that the quality of education should be the ultimate concern, not a percentage of building utilization.
