In January 2004 the average was around a $1.50. Now towards the end of April, 2008, the average price is almost $4.00 for a gallon of regular gasoline. From 2000 to 2004, the gas prices have gone up 25 percent. However from 2004, the price has gone up to a whopping 300 + percent. Diesel is even higher than gasoline these days. Can we do anything about it?
