It shouldn’t be surprising that many people get lost during a discussion when the economy is concerned. The talk ends up focusing mostly on various economic recession statistics and other factors. One area is the potential indicators that help many economists make their predictions about market behavior. Still, people may want to get beyond the jargon and get some simple explanations. Though many so-called progressives would love to separate them, from my point of view there are two other continua which march more-or-less in lockstep with communism-capitalism. These are statism-liberty, and atheism-faith.

There is enough food in the Philippines. Local production and imports have seen to it that the country is amply supplied with food, and it can be readily purchased anywhere you go in the country. Unfortunately, not all people can buy the food that they need. Hunger is a reality in the Philippines.
