Escrita originalmente por Atílio Versutti e Jeca Mineiro, a canção foi popularizada por Almir Rogério, Trio Parada Dura, e outros intérpretes. A música antecipa o disco “Brutal Brega”, que João Gordo interpreta clássicos da música brega brasileira em versões punk rock. O projeto surgiu durante a pandemia, como uma parceria entre Gordo e Val Santos.
